It’s Super Bowl Time…She Said

Sometimes life doesn’t go according to our plans. There is heartache, tragedy, sickness, death, and divorce and then there are victories and celebrations. During all those times the husband and wife are connected communicating and planning their strategy. They may disagree or argue but they stay on the same team. Sometimes the head coach leads and calls the plays and sometimes he looks to his defensive coordinator to call it. Either way they are in agreement; the Bible reminds us of our Owner’s plans…

“I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.” 1 Cor. 1:10

We are a new coaching staff together. We both have been on teams that had coaches quit. And we both know first hand what it feels like to fail and loose causing collateral damage to the entire team. If you feel you are on a loosing team, don’t give up! You have an Owner who is with you both every step of the way. Keep connecting, pursuing, and communicating with each other. Get help and lean in and not away from each other. All teams have their set of challenges, struggles and dysfunctions. And another team’s turf is not that greener. Stay on your team…stay the course! Find your resolve and resilience to keep huddling together.

“May the God (our Owner), who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and one mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you in order to bring praise to God.” Romans 15:5-7

God Bless you and your family today!!
